Hyperrealistisches Puppentheater im Miniaturformat

Überschwemmungen, Dürren, Brände. Slowenien traf es 2023 in besonderem Maße: Durch Starkregen schwollen Bäche massiv an, verursachten Überflutungen und Erdrutsche. »Transport: Departure« dokumentiert eindringlich die Geschichte einer Familie, deren Haus den Wassermassen zum Opfer fiel. Die Inszenierung des Puppentheaters Ljubljana untersucht, wie individuelle Entscheidungen mit politischen und wirtschaftlichen Strukturen verflochten sind, und fragt, welche Zukunft noch möglich ist, wenn die Menschheit die Grenzen der Natur ignoriert.
»Transport« ist eine europaweit gefeierte sechsteilige Theaterserie, die sich mit den Auswirkungen von Mobilität in einer globalisierten Welt beschäftigt. Alle Produktionen nutzen individuell hergestellte Szenografien aus realistisch gestalteten Räumen, Gebäuden, Straßen und öffentlichen Infrastrukturen, die von 3D-gedruckten Spielfiguren bevölkert werden. Mit einer am Animationsfilm orientierten Spielweise und einer 3D-Soundscape entsteht ein immersives Erlebnis fürs Publikum.

Hyperrealistic miniature puppet theater

Floods, droughts, fires. These especially affected Slovenia in 2023: rivers swelled massively thanks to heavy rain, causing floods and landslides. Transport: Departure penetratingly documents the story of a family whose home fell victims to the masses of water. The production by Puppentheaters Ljubljana looks at how individual decisions are interweaved with political and economic structures and asks what future is still possible if humanity ignores the boundaries of nature.
"Transport" is a six-part theater series that has been celebrated across Europe that concerns itself with the effects of mobility in a globalized world. All productions use individually created scenographies consisting of realistically designed spaces, buildings, streets and public infrastructure that are inhabited by 3D printed characters. An immersive experience for the audience is created with a performance style oriented around animated films and a 3D soundscape.
