Divadlo Alfa lädt das Publikum in den Gerichtssaal ein: Angeklagt ist der weltweit größte Energiekonzern, dem eine Mitschuld an einer der verheerendsten Umweltkatastrophen jüngerer Zeit vorgeworfen wird. Doch inwieweit werden die unkontrollierte Macht der fossilen Brennstoffindustrie und die tödliche Verflechtung von Gier und systematischer Fahrlässigkeit durch unser Konsumverhalten und unsere Abhängigkeit von der Industrie mitgetragen? »Transport: Tipping Point« ist fesselndes Dokumentartheater: Ausgehend vom realen Fall einer explodierenden Bohrinsel in den USA reflektiert die Inszenierung über eine Welt, in der die Natur unter der unerbittlichen Logik des Kapitals ums Überleben kämpft.
»Transport« ist eine europaweit gefeierte sechsteilige Theaterserie, die sich mit den Auswirkungen von Mobilität in einer globalisierten Welt beschäftigt. Alle Produktionen nutzen individuell hergestellte Szenografien aus realistisch gestalteten Räumen, Gebäuden, Straßen und öffentlichen Infrastrukturen, die von 3D-gedruckten Spielfiguren bevölkert werden. Mit einer am Animationsfilm orientierten Spielweise und einer 3D-Soundscape entsteht ein immersives Erlebnis fürs Publikum.

Hyperrealistic miniature puppet theater

Divadlo Alfa invites the audience into a courtroom: the defendant is the largest energy company in the world, accused of culpability for one of the most disastrous environmental catastrophes in recent memory. But to what extent is the uncontrollable power of the fossil fuel industry and the deadly entanglement of greed and systemic negligence supported by our consumerism and our dependence on the industry? Transport: Tipping Point is captivating documentary theater. Inspired by the real case of an exploding offshore platform in the USA, the production reflects upon a world in which nature fights for survival against the inexorable logic of capitalism.
"Transport" is a six-part theater series that has been celebrated across Europe that concerns itself with the effects of mobility in a globalized world. All productions use individually created scenographies consisting of realistically designed spaces, buildings, streets and public infrastructure that are inhabited by 3D printed characters. An immersive experience for the audience is created with a performance style oriented around animated films and a 3D soundscape.
